After one week I have lost... one-pound yay! A small start but Rome was not built in a day. I have an exercise routine now, but I am still in the early stages.
One of the things I have found hard is just how much fat comes from bread rolls etc and only when you try and change your diet do you realise how much of the stuff I woof down, a slice here and there all add up. And of course it is so easy to eat sandwiches toast etc. I have begun to realise how much of my food is "easy food" not much to prepare etc.
Healthier foods take effort I have noticed and require more thoughtful shopping.
But I will persevere and I have looked at Kim Ayres blog and I have changed my view on eating I am no longer dieting, I am just going to change my eating habits.
Also when shopping I have noticed how many aisles in tescos etc are dedicated to junk food etc. I have also been looking for better quality chocolate after reading a lot of the chocolate about today is not “chocolate” and yes I can have some. Just not all of the time.
