Social life

On occasion I do not see anyone for a while. I find this quite demoralising, as anyone knows it can be a lonely life. Now I do have a MAC and an xbox360, both have the capability to send and receive messages, in either voice or text form, and in some cases video. Now to keep in contact with my more distant friends in NZ and Czech republic this is perfect, but to use the same methods for those 12miles away? I am not sure if that is a good thing. Convenient it might be but it is not the same as face-to-face social contact.

Allot of this comes down to jobs and house prices; jobs are now on average 40mins away. This means that any friends you make in work tend to be further away. And when friends go to university or college, again they tend to get distant from you.
And then there are house prices, everyone I know in my village has moved away either to get better jobs or due to high house prices. An example of this is at the back of our house there is a lane with what used to be hovels that are now going for £150,000 pounds. And these are hovels, not exactly big. How is a local supposed to afford this? They cannot so they leave.

In a strange twist, as some people drift apart, others are coming together. Gangs are more prevalent as a social grouping with the young than ever before. Some people blame poverty and crime, but I wonder if it is youth acting in the face of a society that is becoming increasingly distant and cold.

The dark terrors

I have insomnia, sleep for me has always been difficult. And when sleeping my dreams wake me up. So not much sleep for me then. My dreams keep me awake because they are so real; I have problems discerning if I am awake or just dreaming.
This can affect my entire day, some times positively, other times weirdly.

I am told that for many writers dreams are a source of inspiration, a place that can always cough up a story.
They also speak about what you fear or want the most.
I have to admit I rely on my dreams allot, as they tend to give me an accurate perspective of how I view the world and myself.
Some however are just plain odd, so who knows with them.

Abductions

Why do aliens abduct people and bugger them? These beings can traverse the cosmos at velocities that defy physics. Can manipulate gravity and read our minds, yet their medical technology is limited to anal probing. Have they never heard of MRI scans?

I can just imagine the scene; grand lord Squee of the little green man coalition is facing down the evil acid beasts. All is not going well, suddenly the beast’s turn, buttocks exposed to the LGM! Probes away!

In space nobody can hear you scream, but you can still be sodomised.

How to take over the world

One of my ambitions has always been to take over the world. I would like to share with you one of my more diabolical plans.
Why do I want to take over the world? Well when I was younger I got really annoyed with heroes winning all the time merely from luck or through some contrivance, particularly when the villain really does have a good plan. I should say I find American heroes very, very grating with their crude side cracks and general lack of intelligence.

So as to my plan.

Sun Tzu said, always destroy the enemies’ will to fight.

Using my millions I would purchase a feminine hygiene company with a very embarrassing name (at least for men, but women have expressed also the awfulness of some brand names) I would then purchase all advert airtime for all the major male sporting events of the world, super bowl, world cup etc and then during the advert breaks play adverts concerning said feminine hygiene products.

Men who form a major part of the world and its government will have there fragile ego's broken allowing me to proceed to the next phase of the plan.

Dealing with the women

It should be said unlike other people who wish to take over the world I will not explain everything.

See you soon in the new world order.

Putting together thoughts

One of the things that have proven a problem with writing my blog is that I cannot write coherently about anything for very long. It just seems to fade from my head, so I have purchased a book called "How to put consecutive thoughts together into a coherent and logical format for reading pleasure" A good title I thought, really catchy and you get a good idea of what’s it's about.

Anyhow it explains that a good writing narrative comes from a good solid idea. Hmmn an idea. I could write about work. Politics. Or mountain gorilla’s in our human society. But I got the sneaking feeling they have been done.

Or I could write about they very lack of ideas in my head, a rich seam indeed at the moment.

I think, I just had an idea.

Balls, I could not even mine my lack of ideas.

Hello all

I am back! yay! it is like I never left. I have had a busy year, and the many people who have not even noticed the void I left can rejoice!

And so I think back to the last time I wrote something down and brought forth my towering wisdom to all.

I had hoped that when I left there would be a great wailing and people would post begging me to continue.

But as the song says come armageddon come.

But still at least this total lack of interest means I can getaway with everything and not be worried about annoying anyone
