Evil and good

Recently I have been thinking about evil. No not the devil but what makes someone evil or for that matter good.

If someone is mad and they kill a bunch of people are they evil. Hitler is often considered mad but if he is not in control of his emotions or decisions can he be evil, after all evil is supposed to be about choice and mad people cannot understand those choices.

When presented with a choice the evil person knows the result of his actions and as such chooses the evil action, knowing it is “evil”

But what about suicide bombers? They believe what they are doing is right not evil. Now someone might say they were evil but if you look at these people they had families who they say they loved if so can they be evil?

And what about bomber pilots dropping bombs are they evil? from their perspective they are good but yet a lot of people die as a result of their actions.

So is evil a choice? And if so is that choice dependant on perspective?

I started off thinking about evil, and find I do not know anything about what evil is or for that matter what good is as the above logic says that even good is dependant upon choice and a point of perspective.

Of course I am known for being full off shit.

This evil and good business requires more thought than I realised.
